A small mannequin company has grown rapidly since Kuniko Katsuragi joined the design department. Kuniko, who is devoted to her work, has a crush on Sadaoka, the head of the design department. However, Sadaoka is 12 years older than Kuniko and has a wife and child. In a moment of inspiration, Kuniko says something that tells Sadaoka of her feelings for him, but Sadaoka doesn't seem to care... Then Kuniko meets a young man, Masanori, a member of a poor theater troupe, at a convenience store, and they easily have a relationship, and he lets her stay at his room. Kuniko wants to break up with him, but things don't go smoothly...
