Li Linglin is the 17th princess of Zhai, the continent's strongest empire. One day, Linglin is instructed by Cai Lan, the empress as well as her beloved sister, to marry the Kui country's king, Yang Huangya. However, the prospects of the marriage were grim. Though the citizens of Kui were delighted to welcome in a beautiful bride from a country larger than their own, upon discovery that Linglin was a poison fanatic who much preferred creating Gu to beautiful clothes and sparkling gems, every citizen recoiled in disgust. As rumors of assassination attempts on their king flourished, suspicions of poisoning were thrown onto Linglin, whose position grew increasingly more perilous...
