Tamako Kawashima, a member of her school’s track and field club, is a regular competitor at the national inter-high championships in pole vaulting. One rainy day during the summer holidays, following a certain incident, she resolves to search for a way to bring her deceased teacher back to life. She embarks on this journey alongside her childhood friend, Minato Takahama, and three other students who bear mysterious burn marks.
