Kaedetsuki, a high school student in the light music club, feels frustrated by his inability to fit in with his surroundings and his lack of clear goals. One day, while attending his favorite band's live performance for the first time, he meets his sister's friend, Asuka. While attending a vocational school to become a nursery school teacher, Asuka has been unable to give up on her once passionate pursuit of music. Kaedetsuki and Asuka feel suffocated by their suffocating daily lives. The two hit it off and start a band, but various obstacles stand in their way... Friends, family, adults, people they love.
