Sumo is the national sport of Japan. In the past, sumo was so popular that the names of the yokozunas are famous and well-known even by children. Today, kids do not like stripping naked and strapping on the mawashi belt, and even those who take up the sport soon quit because they can't get used to sleeping and eating with a large stable of men when they've been coddled with a private room at home all their life.
