Rui had everything...happy family, beautiful fiancee, position as a gourmet writer. But he lost them all. Now he must take his revenge on Zihao. Shanghai, 1999. A city on the edge. As a son of small restaurant owner, Rui, worked as a gourmet writer and loved his job. His fiancee, Honghua was a beautiful colledge student. Rui knew his childhood friend, Zihao, became a member of Heiban, but he believed they were still friends. One day Rui helped some children living on the street, and that small good act lead him to tragedy. It was Zihao who destroyed everything he had...Rui decides to do the same thing back.
