Rajan, a young man from an impoverished mountain region, arrives in the royal capital and saves a girl named Amrita from a sudden attack. Amrita is a seer who guides the nation using a divination art known as "Mido." Helpless to save the citizens suffering under the palace's tyrannical rule, she sees the makings of a true king in Rajan, who also happens to be a descendant of the former dynasty.
