Yuzuki's best friend since childhood, Kohaku, confesses his feelings on the day of their high school graduation. Kohaku tells him, "You don't have to go out with me or anything, I just wanted to tell you how I really feel." Yuzuki takes him up on that and tries to stay just friends.
