朱雀高校に通う高校生・山田竜は、学園きっての問題児で不良少年。学校でも周囲から浮いた存在であり、友達もできずにいた。 ある日、階段から落ちた弾みで優等生・白石うららとキスしてしまったところ、2人の身体が入れ替わるという不思議な現象に見舞われる。いくつかの実験と検証によってうららは『キスした相手と精神を入れ替える能力』を持っており、山田は『キスで魔女の能力をコピーする能力』を持っていることが判明する。 生徒会副会長の宮村虎之介にあっさりと入れ替わりを見破られた2人は、超常現象研究部へ入部する運びになる。そこに超常現象マニアの伊藤雅と、帰国子女の椿剣太郎が入部。能力について探る内に、朱雀高校には「魔女」と呼ばれる力を持った生徒が常に7人いてそれぞれが異なる超能力を持っていることが判明し、魔女探しを始める運びとなった。
