小学生の男子3人にいじめられた挙句、髪を切られて泣いていた少女の前に、一部始終見ていた一人の女子高生・小柴綺里が現れる。「魔法をかけてあげようか？」と言われ、その少女は綺里によってヘアメイクされたことによって美少女に変身し、いじめを振り切ることに成功する。プロ並みのヘアカットテクニックを持つ綺里だが、実は過去にカットに失敗して傷つけてしまったことがあり、それを今でもトラウマとして引きずっていた。そのため、プロの美容師になることには無関心だったが、次第にそれを夢と定め、目標に向かい成長していく。
