Overview

Rui had everything...happy family, beautiful fiancee, position as a gourmet writer. But he lost them all. Now he must take his revenge on Zihao. Shanghai, 1999. A city on the edge. People feared to be called losers. There was a criminal syndicate called Heiban based in Shanghai that controls all of China. Their scale and connections were unbelievable. As a son of small restaurant owner, Rui, worked as a gourmet writer and loved his job. His fiancee, Honghua was a beautiful colledge student. Rui knew his childhood friend, Zihao, became a member of Heiban, but he believed they were still friends.
