Overview

Toa is a "jewel child". When he cries, his tears turn into gems. With no memory of his past, blind, and working at a brothel, he lives a miserable life. One day, he is bought by a man named Rio, the eldest son of a lord, who is bound by tradition to marry a jewel child. At their first meeting, Toa is bewildered by Rio's cold dismissal as he tells Toa he will never love him. And yet, Toa feels a sense of familiarity in Rio's voice.
