Overview
Middle school student Kon Chigawa has never left the small island she was born on, nor does she expect to. Shunned by her classmates, Kon's always alone, and she hasn't ever been in love, either. That is, until she encounters the city girl Furuka on a cliff-and ends up resuscitating her after they fall into the ocean! Upon waking, the two mysteriously find themselves in front of a cave said to house monsters, a place Kon often spends time by. And with that, strange occurrences begin to happen on the island... 舞台は2018年の夏、「かいじゅうさん」の言い伝えがある離島。島の中学生・千川棔（ちがわ こん）は、都会からやって来た一門歩流夏（ひとと ふるか）が海に転落するのを目撃し、彼女を助ける。2人が目を覚ますと、「かいじゅうさんの穴」と呼ばれる洞窟の前で倒れていた。ひとりぼっちだった2人は次第にひかれ合うが、島では不思議なことが起こり始める。
